Privacy Policy
How we handle the information you send us through this site.
Last updated 12 September 2026
Hassle Free Boating respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you complete the enquiry form on this site, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, the type and length of your vessel, where it is moored, the service you are enquiring about, and anything you write in the message field.
We only collect these details because you chose to send them to us. There is no other form of data collection on this site.
Why we collect it
We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, arrange a vessel visit, and provide a quote. If you become a client, we use the same details to carry out the work and to invoice you.
We do not use your details for anything else, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.
Who can see it
Your enquiry is received by Esti De Swardt, the owner and operator of Hassle Free Boating.
This website is hosted by Wix, and enquiries are stored in the Wix dashboard for this site. That means Wix processes the data on our behalf as a service provider.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else for marketing.
There are times we may need to share limited details with a third party to do the work you have asked for, such as a marina, a slipway, or a marine mechanic coordinating a service on your vessel. We share only what that job requires.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and client records for as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet our tax and business record-keeping obligations. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask us and we will remove it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. Email or call us using the contact details on this site and we will sort it out.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the cookies required for the website and the enquiry form to work.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
